Ramadan Announcements

Congratulations to all Muslims on the beginning of Ramadan 1446 AH. The new of moon Ramadan was born at 12:44 AM British time on 28 February 2025 in the lunar mansion Al-Fargh Al-Thani.

This crescent is not visible to the naked eye in the UK. However, it is visible to the naked eye in the Dakhla region of Morocco. Additionally, it can be sighted with the naked eye in other African countries and in the Americas.

The confirmed presence of the crescent above the horizon after sunset establishes the obligation of fasting. Based on this, In shฤโ€™ Allฤh, Taraweeh prayers will be performed on the night of Friday 28 February 2025 and Saturday 1 March 2025 will be the first day of Ramadan. May Allah give us strength and a suitable situation to worship more and more in this Holy Month. Ameen, UK & EU Hilal Forum.
